Barsong is a story of the brief lives of six people. In a twilight land they exist for a night's time. When the night is over they will reverse roles. The characters are aware they are being manipulated and they make frequent references to the roles they have to play to each other. All this is controlled by the man across the street. The role changing goes on into eternity. |
